Artist Collaborations

As we grow our jigsaw puzzle lineup, we’re looking for artists who bring strong visual storytelling and a distinctive creative voice. Selected artists will create original artwork designed specifically for puzzles, with opportunities for ongoing collaboration.

We’re always interested in discovering new artists and review submissions on a continuing basis.

Collaboration Details

We welcome applications from illustrators, artists, and designers with a distinctive visual style and an interest in creating artwork for jigsaw puzzles. Whether you’re an emerging or established artist, we’re most interested in strong creative voices and original perspectives.

The most engaging puzzle designs have visual variety and small details that help guide the puzzling experience.

Artwork that works particularly well often includes:

  • Layered scenes with multiple visual elements
  • Interesting textures, patterns, or gradients
  • Small storytelling moments within the illustration
  • Varied colors and shapes that help differentiate puzzle pieces

We’re especially interested in artwork that resonates within the gift and souvenir space—designs that feel meaningful, place-inspired, or simply fun to give and display. Many of our puzzles draw from themes that evoke a sense of place, nostalgia, or everyday joy.

Examples:
- Travel & destination-inspired scenes
- National parks and outdoor adventures
- Coastal, lake, and cabin life
- Wildlife and nature
- Seasonal and holiday designs
- Rustic, farmhouse, and western-inspired styles
- Food, kitchen, and garden themes
- Plants and botanical art
- Pet lovers and animal-focused pieces
- Inspirational or sentimental artwork

These themes are meant to spark ideas rather than define strict categories, we’re always excited to see fresh interpretations and unexpected directions.

Selected artists will create original illustrations designed specifically for jigsaw puzzles. Artwork should be detailed enough to remain visually engaging when broken into puzzle pieces and will be produced as part of our puzzle collection.

Final artwork should be delivered as high-resolution files suitable for print production.

Preferred formats include:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Layered files when possible

Print-ready exports will also be required.

Yes! Artists will be credited on puzzle packaging and featured on our website and social channels.

Selected artists will typically have 4–6 weeks to complete final artwork.

Launch timing varies depending on production schedules and how each design fits into upcoming puzzle collections. After artwork is completed, puzzles will move into our production pipeline, and artists will receive updates on expected launch timing.

We offer flexible compensation options, including flat-fee work-for-hire projects or licensing/royalties, depending on the project and the artist’s preference. Details will be discussed with selected artists.

We review submissions on an ongoing basis and will reach out directly if there’s a good fit for a current or upcoming project. While we may not be able to respond to every submission, all portfolios are kept on file and considered as new opportunities arise.

Ownership and licensing depend on the compensation option the artist selects.
